Shirodhara

The term ‘Shirodhara’ comes from two Sanskrit words, where ‘Shiro’ means ‘head’ and ‘dhara’ implies to ‘pouring or sprinkling something’, together it infers to dripping or pouring of warm herbal ayurvedic oils on the forehead from a specific height, for a specific time period in a continuous stream, allowing the oil to run through the scalp and down into the hair.

Kizhi

Herbal and herbs powders are applied on the whole body in blouses with warm medicated oil. This treatment will stimulate the body and give relaxation. Highly recommended for general health and also good for Osteo Arthritis, Arthritis with Swelling, Spondilosis, Sports injuries etc.

How Do We Operate?

Spa Management for Pre-Existing Infrastructure

When the hotel or the resort already has infrastructure of a spa in place:

Procurement : We source authentic ingredients from the places they are indigenous in. We never compromise on quality.
Operational Costs : We will bear the full costs of running the spa, including operations, staff, and supplies.
Essentials : The hotel or the resort has to ensure the supply of power, water, laundry services, food and accommodation for the staff, and the maintenance of the spa premises.
Revenue Share : The hotel or the resort is entitled to 70% of the total sale revenue.

Spa Management with Our Investment in Infrastructure

When there is a need for infrastructure for a spa setup, we also invest partially to build it as per pre-settled agreements. In that case:

Operational Costs : We will bear the full costs of running the spa, including operations, staff, and supplies.
Essentials : The hotel or the resort has to ensure the supply of power, water, laundry services, food and accommodation for the staff, and the maintenance of the spa premises.
Revenue Share : The hotel or the resort is entitled to <70>% of the total sale revenue.

More Revenue

With the spa services added to your portfolio, additional revenue is generated. You will have a new customer base as well who will visit the premises just for spa services. Additionally, we are responsible for the ambience, music, and the environment in and around the spa.

These sensory stimulations are formulated in such a way that they induce calmness and relaxation to the body. Even the general hotel guests passing by would want to avail our spa services. This in turn generates more revenue for the spa as well as the hotel in a completely healthy way.

Agreement Terms

Revenue Sharing

It is proposed to share the revenue collected on a 70:30 basis (30% to the Hotel and 70% for Sathwa Spa)

Perks

Sathwa Spa shall provide the Resort, Spa services at the Spa to the Managing Director/Vice president/General manager free of cost and discounted services to the Management’s guests (identified in advance) and Resort senior staff with the written approval by the Head of the Resort.

Contract Period

It is proposed to have initial contract for 3 years; to be renewed with mutual consent subsequently

Expertise Reputation

Sathwa Spa ensures 100% contribution of expertise, skills and knowledge as per the industry standards to carry out the business operation. Operators reputation and network is tagged along with the operation to invite guests to the resort.

Maintanance

Sathwa Spa emphasizes on professional ethics and dedicated services to ensure cost cutting at each stage of tactical performance. Reducing cost of day-to-day utilities comes along with business objectives. We consider the short term maintenance cost as a part of operational expenses. Thus, the property reserved for Sathwa Spa is taken care and maintained by us. However, any property outside the provision of the agreement, Sathwa Spa will not be held liable or cause damages in any manner.
